International e-education grant
The International Relations Committee (IRC) welcome applications to our new international e-education grant award. Funding will be available for innovative digital educational projects aimed at low to lower-middle income countries.
Grants of up to £5,000 will be considered for projects involving an individual or team, either as part of an existing scheme or seeking to establish a new virtual international education programme.
Submitters must be based in the UK or Ireland and must demonstrate that their project is unique or could be used as a bolt-on module to existing projects. Full evidence of the feasibility, limitations of the project and GDPR compliance must be included in your application.
Funding will be considered for projects such as the electronic delivery of educational anaesthesia related projects or learning materials. Funding will not be provided for items such as (not exclusive); the purchase of a learning management system (LMS); content held behind a paywall (restricted access to content, via a purchase or a paid subscription). Generally funding will not be provided for the purchase of computers or other electronic equipment but this may be considered in exceptional circumstances. Funding of e-educational materials does not imply that the Association or the IRC funding partners endorse the content. Funding for retrospective projects will not be considered.
Submission deadline: Wednesday 14 August 2024 (23:59)
The development of the project should take place between October 2024 - October 2025. Funding will not be awarded for retrospective projects
Eligibility
- Applications must be submitted from an anaesthetist based in the United Kingdom or Ireland.
- All projects must have a UK or Irish partner
- Applicants may only apply for one grant per project.
- Applications from charitable organisations or NGOs must be submitted in the name of the organisation not the individual. Evidence is required of other funding applied for and to be raised
- Charitable financial contributions to other charities or organisations are excluded from funding applications
- No travel funding will be provided for the project
- Applications should demonstrate sustainability and explain how the benefits of the project work will be maintained in the future
- Applicants should demonstrate that their project is unique or could be used as a bolt-on module to existing projects.
- Applicants should fully evidence of the feasibility, limitations of the project
- Applicants should include an evaluation of the impact or measurable outcomes in the application
- Applicants must evidence GDPR compliance within the application
- Normally, funding will not be provided for items such as (not exclusive); the purchase of computers or other electrical equipment; content held behind a paywall (restricted access to content, via a purchase or a paid subscription).The purchase of a learning management system (LMS) will not be accepted.
