International Travel Grant
Individual travel grants for short visits (usually less than one month) for anaesthetists who are seeking funding for travel usually, but not exclusively, to the benefit of developing countries. The committee meets twice a year to consider applications and these must be received within the advertised time-frame, shown below, to be considered.
The safety of applicants and participants must be considered in all projects. Funding for projects and travel will only be considered where the submitter can demonstrate that due diligence has been followed regarding the trip. All applications will be socred against the IRC scoring criteria.
Deadline for submission: 23:59, Wednesday 14 August 2024
Amount per applicant - Up to a maximum of £1,000
Eligibility criteria - You must be a UK-based or Ireland-based, qualified anaesthetist
Frequency - twice a year
Funding partners - Association of Anaesthetists, Paediatric Critical Care Society, Regional Anaesthesia UK, Royal College of Anaesthetists, Society for Intravenous Anaesthesia, and World Anaesthesia Society
