Our strategy 2024 to 2029
Our strategy sets out the vision, mission, and values of the Association and our strategic priorities for the next five years. Our motto is in somno securitas (safe in sleep). Our vision is that every patient under our care is kept safe.
Our mission (or core purpose) is to safeguard patients by educating, supporting, and inspiring every anaesthetist throughout their career, enabling them to provide the best care in every healthcare setting.
Our four key strategic priorities of Patient Care & Safety, Education & Research, Advocacy & Support, and Innovation & Growth sets out the framework for how we aim to achieve this mission and support our members to be the best anaesthetists they can be.
