Seminars
Our educational seminars feature leading experts in anaesthesia, critical care and pain medicine presenting the latest information and thinking on a variety of key anaesthesia topics.
Seminars are designed to focus on a specific field of interest within anaesthesia. They offer an intimate learning environment with a maximum of 50 delegates at each. Keeping the numbers low encourages delegate faculty interaction.
Our seminars are open to all grades of anaesthetists.
Most seminars are held at our headquarters at 21 Portland Place in central London. A small number of seminars are held in larger venues, always in close proximity to our headquarters.
The seminars are timed so it's possible for almost all those attending (both speakers and audience) to travel to and from London on the day, without the need to stay overnight. Most seminars start around 10:30 and finish by 16:30.

Webinars
Watch and learn from your own home with our informative webinars. You have the freedom to join in live, or watch the recorded versions at a later date.
At each webinar three or four experts each speak for 20 to 30 minutes about their specialist subjects. You'll then get the chance to ask questions if you're watching live. The whole event lasts just over two hours.

CPD accreditation and our events
In keeping with the GMC condition that CPD activity doesn’t need a set number of 'points' or 'credits', the Association doesn't issue these for its educational activities.
However, for those members who wish to record their CPD in terms of points or credits it's normal practice to give one credit or point for each hour of education provided.
CPD certificates will be available to download from the 'My account' section of the website immediately after the meeting. If you are unable to access these online please contact the Events team who will be able to help.
